Yes, in many cases, international students in Canada are allowed to work while studying. Here are some key points:

𝐎𝐧-𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤: You can work on the campus of the institution where you are studying without needing to apply for a separate work permit, as long as you are enrolled full-time in a designated learning institution.
𝐎𝐟𝐟-𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤: You may also be eligible to work off-campus for up to 20 hours per week during regular academic sessions and full-time during scheduled breaks without a separate work permit, as long as you meet certain eligibility criteria.
𝐂𝐨-𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬: Many Canadian universities and colleges offer co-op or internship programs that allow students to gain practical work experience related to their field of study. In these cases, a work permit may be required, but it is often included as part of the study permit application process.
𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭 (𝐏𝐆𝐖𝐏): After completing your studies in Canada, you may be eligible to apply for a PGWP, which allows you to work in Canada for up to three years, depending on the length of your study program.
It's important to check the specific conditions and eligibility criteria related to working while studying in Canada, as they can vary based on factors such as your study program, institution, and location. Additionally, be sure to maintain compliance with the conditions of your study permit to avoid any issues with your ability to work in Canada.

𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: If you're enrolled in a full-time program at a designated learning institution in Canada for a program that lasts more than six months, your spouse or common-law partner, as well as dependent children, may be eligible to accompany you to Canada.
𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬: Family members who wish to accompany you but do not qualify as accompanying dependents may apply for visitor visas to enter Canada. They would need to demonstrate ties to their home country, such as employment, property, or other commitments, to show that they intend to return after their visit.
𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬/𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬: Spouses or common-law partners of full-time international students may be eligible to apply for an open work permit, allowing them to work for any employer in Canada during the duration of the study permit.
